Central Purification Systems

One Size DOES NOT Fit All

Every person reacts differently to particulates, mold and other allergens. Your home is also unique due to building materials, location, and occupants. All of these factors must be taken into account when selecting a central air purification system.

How can you fix a problem when you don't know what the problem is?

Before selecting an air purification system, have an indoor air quality survey performed. By determining the particulate concentration by size, the relative humidity levels throughout the home, as well as identifying other sources of indoor air pollutants, you can make an informed decision on the type of Central Air Purification System that will best fit the needs of you and your family.

CPS - 1400

The CPS - 1400 features two stages of filtration. A Merv 8 prefilter captures the larger particulates such as pollen, dust and mold spores. The MERV 11 secondary filter captures particulates as small as one to five microns in size that pass right through furnace filters. If odors and gasses are a concern, an optional 1” carbon filter can be added.

The CPS - 1400 will remove 97% of the particulates 6 microns in size. The compact, lightweight CPS - 1400 unit can easily be installed into an existing heating and cooling system. These versatile systems can also be installed during the construction of a new home or during the replacement of a furnace, heat pump or air conditioner.

CPS - 300UV

These in-duct lamp models do not provide particulate filtration . They are primarily designed for homeowners who already have an upgraded particulate filtration unit and want to augment it with the benefits of germicidal UV-C protection. This model is a Class II medical device.

The CPS300-UV 110-volt model is equipped with a high-performance germicidal UV-C lamp. This model is designed to irradiate bacteria, viruses and other microbes as they pass through the return duct or plenum. It can also be installed beneath the indoor evaporator coil.

The CPS300-UV does NOT produce ozone.

CPS - 600 : True HEPA Filtration for Your Home

The CPS - 600 model features three stages of filtration. The first stage is a coarse particulate prefilter. The second stage is a dual-purpose pleated filter, with a layer of media for finer particulates and a layer of woven carbon media for absorption of gases and odors. The final stage is a true HEPA filter certified to capture at least 99.97% of contaminants as small as 0.3 microns in size, such as bacteria, mold spores, soot, pollens, and other allergens and lung-damaging particles. A convenient filter loading indicator light signals when it is time to change the filters.

The CPS - 600 systems are equipped with a powerful motor/blower, and are installed into the heating and cooling ductwork in a “partial bypass” configuration, to ensure that these highly efficient devices do not adversely affect the performance of the heating and cooling system. Each time the air passes through the heating and cooling return, a significant portion is pulled through the CPS - 600 system and purified before being recirculated back into the living space. With continuous operation of the heating and cooling fan, the CPS - 600 can provide up to 60 clean air changes per day in a typical home.

The compact, lightweight CPS - 600 system unit can easily be installed into an existing heating and cooling system. These versatile systems can also be installed during the construction of a new home or during the replacement of a furnace, heat pump or air conditioner.

CPS - 600 UV : True HEPA Filtration for Your Home plus UV Protection

The CPS - 600 UV model features three stages of filtration PLUS our unique UVGI lamp technology. The first stage is a coarse particulate prefilter. The second stage is a dual-purpose pleated filter, with a layer of media for finer particulates and a layer of woven carbon media for absorption of gases and odors. The UV lamp is installed on the inlet (dirty) side of the HEPA filter to continuously irradiate pollutants, breakdown VOC’s and odors, and kill microbes trapped by the HEPA filter.

The CPS - 600 UV models are independently tested and certified by ETL to stringent UL standards. State-of-the-art safety features include an electrical interlock switch that instantly deactivates the lamp when the access door is opened to prevent any accidental eye or skin exposure to the UV emissions. The CPS - 600 UV systems are equipped with a powerful motor/blower, and are installed into the heating and cooling ductwork in a “partial bypass” configuration, to ensure that these highly efficient devices do not adversely affect the performance of the heating and cooling system. Each time the air passes through the heating and cooling return, a significant portion is pulled through the CPS - 600 UV system and purified before being recirculated back into the living space. With continuous operation of the heating and cooling fan, the CPS - 600 UV can provide up to 60 clean air changes per day in a typical home.

The compact, lightweight CPS - 600 UV system unit can easily be installed into an existing heating and cooling system. These versatile systems can also be installed during the construction of a new home or during the replacement of a furnace, heat pump or air conditioner.
