ABOUT THE FRESH AIR VENTILATION SYSTEM
The Fresh Air Ventilation System (FAVS) provides better control of the air quality in your home by filtering fresh air and balancing air pressure within the home. The system utilizes an in-line filter cabinet equipped with a 1" MERV 13 filter and dehumidifier attached to the HVAC to help filter out contaminants and circulate high-quality air throughout the home.
Each time you open a window or door the change in air pressure brings outdoor air into your home. Negative air pressure allows for stacking from unconditioned spaces such as attics, which introduces contaminants such as air-borne particulates, humidity, and VOCs (volatile organic compounds) into the home. By balancing the negative air pressure, FAVS minimizes infiltration, therefore reducing outdoor pollutants from polluting the indoor air. The result is a healthier home with improved air quality and reduced airborne irritants.
Fresh air ventilation introduces positive pressure into a home. As a home pressurizes, some of the air within the home is exhausted out of the building. The existing, often polluted air is diluted with fresh air and a portion of the pollutants within the existing air is exhausted out of the home with each air exchange.

FAVS is proven to improve indoor air quality and you don't have to just take our word for it, we have the test results to show it.
We used an airborne particle counter to test the outdoor and indoor air quality of the home. Readings were taken before and after FAVS was installed. After installation, the particle count inside the home was reduced from 4.49% to less than 1%.

DOES YOUR ATTIC HAVE SPRAY FOAM INSULATION?
The FAVS system can protect your home from VOCs caused by spray foam insulation in attic spaces. Ventilation is reduced by spray foam insulation. As temperatures increase within attics during the summer months, the spray foam insulation can give off VOCs and create unhealthy living conditions. The FAVS system can help to address the limited ventilation and dilute these VOCs by introducing fresh air.Â
